Patio del Mundo is a recently renovated traditional Antioquian property whose owners - Agnes, Christine and José-Luis- are French. Agnes and her entire team will respond to your needs and will attend to every detail to ensure that you will feel at home in beautiful Medellin and stylish Poblado Provenza. All are fluent in English, Spanish and French.

It’s the perfect location for you to try the finest restaurants and eateries from all over the world (Colombian, Italian, French, Japanese, Spanish, Peruvian cuisine…), enjoy drinks in the trendiest bars, just minutes from your relaxing accommodations.


The Lleras Park stands 400 meters from Patio del Mundo, yet the only sounds you’ll hear at the villa is the whispering of the park’s La Presidenta stream. Parque Poblado, which is the heart of El Poblado district, offers another nightlife option and is less than one kilometer away. Treat yourself to a good shopping session in the best shopping centers along the Poblado Avenue.


El Poblado Provenza is ideally located in Medellin, with an easy access to the International Airport (35 minutes away) or to downtown with its 23 Botero sculptures among other works of art.

Canyoning and rafting lovers will greatly enjoy la Reserva El Refugio Canon del Rio Claro. During the dry season, the crystal clear waters of Rio claro, one of the wonders of Colombia, wind through a deep limestone gorge.


From nearby Guatape village, with its colorful buildings, you will reach El Penol, a two hundred meters high granite monolith overlooking the lake. Jardin, 4 hours by car from Medellin, is one of the most beautiful villages in Antioquia. Get your hiking boots ready or go for a private horse-ride to discover these fabulous landscapes. In Fredonia, you can discover genuine haciendas where world class coffee varieties are grown.

The beautiful southeastern mountains of Medellin are gateway to the « Coffee Triangle region », a mere 4-hour ride by car from Medellin. With its multitude of colonial villages, this region is recognized as a Unesco World Heritage site. Busy travelers may choose flying to Manizales, Pereira or Armenia (40 minutes for a direct flight) to reach the site.
